Binance is not the whole Bitcoin book
Binance futures · BTCUSDT · FlowMap Chart
Bitcoin trades in many places at once. FlowMap Chart shows one of them: Binance USD-M futures, BTCUSDT. That book is real. It is not the whole Bitcoin book.
This note is that limit. What you see on the heat and COB is one venue. Spot on the same exchange, other futures books, and other venues keep their own resting size.
One book, one feed
The liquidity heatmap is a history of resting limits on this contract. Bubbles are aggressive prints on this contract. CVD adds those prints up in the window. None of that includes Bybit size, Hyperliquid size, or Binance spot size unless we bring those in as separate overlays.
A thick ask on Binance can sit next to a thin ask somewhere else. Price can still move if the hit lands where the book is thin — including on another venue you are not watching.
Spot is not the same book
Binance spot BTCUSDT and Binance futures BTCUSDT are related markets. They are not the same order book. A wall on futures is not a wall on spot. A large spot print is not a futures bubble until it prints on the futures feed (or you map it on purpose).
On FlowMap, Other large can mark large prints from other books (spot / other perps) onto the futures chart by price at align time. That is an overlay. It does not turn the heatmap into a multi-exchange depth movie.
Why this still matters
Most of the aggression and resting size you care about for this contract still shows up here. You can read absorption, pulls, and CVD on Binance futures without pretending you see every Bitcoin limit in the world.
Just do not invent a global wall from one bright band. A bright band can also vanish on this book alone — a bright heatmap band can still vanish.
What this picture is not
Not a ranking of exchanges. Not a claim that Binance is “the” Bitcoin market. Not MBO or iceberg reconstruction across venues.
It is one professional view of Binance futures BTCUSDT. For learning only — not financial advice.
